okay.i know this is seriously overdued. but its better late than never? thought of continuing where i stopped for this brilliant Taiwan trip before i lost precious memory of it. so yeah. as promised(not like i actually promised anyone since only yt knows of this blog),

here i present my 6days taiwan trip in full details together with all the pictures!

day1
was really lucky to get the window seat. (my first time) and so gotta make good use of this to take lots of pictures!





it looked really awesome outside. really.
checked the temperature outside and it was a holy -60 degrees! there're even some snow flakes?





finally we arrived! cannnnnnnnn't contain my excitement!!


got on the coach and the tour guide introduced Taiwan to us briefly, and passed us the map of Taiwan.


apparently we were already marking out places where we can go to. as if we are on a free-and-easy tour! but well, its just for the fun of it, and of course, to aid our plan to sneak out sometime at night? heh.

the first stop we got down was actually 淡水老街! didn't really know the weather was that cold. we were still thinking, must be kena cheated about the weather cos it didn't looked like it was when we were on the bus. but as we got off the coach, we were all too shocked for words! but i simply loved that kind of weather~



this place is kinda 古色古香！ate 臭豆腐，烤鱿鱼 etc. it was really good! okay. i guess it wasn't really really good but maybe cos we were really too happy so anything that goes into our mouth were simply great.


night falls quite early in Taiwan during winter time. apparently it starts to turn dark at around 6pm, and the next stop was actually 淡水鱼人码头. and yeah, view was brilliant! heard that alot of couples go there to park tor. hahaha! not bad!

liked 渔人码头。jus the mention of the name就觉得很有feel. felt really good and comfortable there too! and there are live bands and bars around. so its a place with food, music, weather and feeeeeeeeel!

after that was to 市林夜市.

were told that we can only stay there for like 1 hour or so. was so dissapointed! i mean that is a place for good food and good shopping. 1 hour? sigh. but no choice, so we decided to really gen ta ping le.

first we chiong to the place to eat the famous local food.



the first to come into our sight was 传说中的大大鸡排！but queue was super long. and due to time constrain, we gotta give it a miss. come to think of it, i regretted doing so!

but luckily we ate 芒果冰和 o ar jian. 好吃！but i doubt u will wanna see the way we ate. haha. it was scary.一口芒果冰，一口 o ar jian, 一口 o ar mee sua! siao.

after gobbling down the food, we really heck care our reputation and ran all the way to the shopping district. totally like siao. poor jk and zihao though, totally made so loss by us! the 4 ladies just separate into 2 groups and 疯狂似的rush into the shops; fast and furious, bing bing piang piang,scan through everything and pay for what we want and rush out. jk n zihao was still tagging behind me and jie initially. but after some time, we totally lost them! cos we were totally in a mad rush and can't be bothered to take care of them. heh heh.

anw,疯狂购物一个小时后，me and jie went back to gather with the rest, and then realised we were the last to arrive! so paiseh... though it was really too short a shopping spree, it was a crazy fun experience! and we still can't stop discussing how that shopping spree went as we got back to the coach. it was farnie!


玩乐一整天，终于要check in hotel.



didnt really look forward to checking in cos was worried about the quality of it. but apparently we were really really really pleased with the hotel facilities and everything!everything's brand new and nice! we didn't expect such good accomodation considering the price we were paying for the trip. what a pleasant surprise? and the hotel is actually situated quite in a good location cos there are alot of shops ard it, plus the train station is just within walking distance. oh yeah.

day2

first stop was to the charcoal display museum

look at the food. there are awesome! tried many special dishes that are made form charcoal. didnt know there are actually so many food that can come from charcoal. and apparently that was an objective of the trip, i.e to understand how something we use everyday can actually have so many different uses.



and some random shots there. this place is good too. away from the buzz of city; a very quiet and tranquil(Sp?) place. i like!

next, to an organic farm. got to learn some 灭虫措施。damn smart!and these are ways that we will never ever imagine using! btw, this farm was freaking cold. almost turn into a popstick. haha. but worth it man! cos the scenery were great and fantastic!





it was really a freezing cold place but with breathtaking scenery. so much so that we can forget all about the coldness and gladly immerse ourselves in it.


had a great deal of fun jumping on this jumping mat!haha!(as seen from our expression!)


dinner was at this 蒙古烤肉餐馆。
the food was suuuuuuperb!




and it was at this particular place, we formed The Kase - my Taiwan gang! hahaha. loved these people. we were just gossiping about the teachers and that's how we came together. heh. typical of students!

one particular incident i remembered was that we were saying there's a store downstairs across the streets 在打六折. should quickly go down and buy. as we were discussing that feverishly, JK, out of nowhere, asked who is 六折??? we were then like, looked at each other, then all bursted out in full blast laughter! hahahahaha. to think he asked that! apparently his cheena was pathetic to not know what we're talking about! anw, so that was the begining of the 6 of us, coming togther as 1.

the next stop we went to was
宁夏夜市. but that wasnt included in the itinery. it was actually a failed attempt by us when we try to sneak out to石林夜市. hahaha. damn dumb. but in the end, no choice, made do with it and at least we got to eat more of the Taiwan food. guess 夜市 are really 台湾的特色之一。
